FREE Wedding Photography and Videography 2012!

Q.  Why are you giving away FREE wedding photography and videography?

A.  Two years ago, a particular wedding date was pushed up and its guestlist was minimized to less than a dozen individuals.  The mother of the bride was very ill.  Financially strapped, my friend, the bride was not considering wedding luxuries (letter press invitations, photobooths, or lavish dessert tables).  She cared about her mother being present to watch her wed the man she loved.  I offered to document her wedding. I planned to fly across the country, snag a hotel, and document her wedding day, all pro bono.  Tragically, her mother passed a couple weeks before the wedding, and the wedding was called off.  My heart broke and I was at a loss for words.

In 2011, they made plans to be wed!  I photographed their wedding and was inspired by the couple and their wedding.  I’ve expressed this many times: 2011 changed my life for so many different reasons, on so many levels.  I understand that every couple experiences hardships and obstacles and this is the reason why I’m doing my first ever photography AND videography giveaway.  Yes, magic word:  FREE!

I’m not a philanthropist (yet) but what I can do is help preserve your memories through photography and film.  Please let my team be part of the wedding of your dreams.

Q.  How do I enter?

A.  Like Nicole Chan Photography and Promessa Films on Facebook and submit your story by February 21, 2012!

• Tell us your love story!  We want to learn everything about the two of you and your wedding vision.  (We like pictures!)  Be sure to include why you deserve this giveaway and why you’d love Nicole Chan Photography and Promessa Films to document your wedding.
• Please e-mail your questions and entry submission to nicole@nicolechanphotography.com.  Pretty simple, yes?

Q.  What happens after I submit?

A.  Nicole will send you an e-mail to inform you that your submission has been received.  The top three finalists will be announced February 23, 2012 and will be contacted to schedule their engagement session and pre-wedding film.  (Don’t worry, we’ll help you design and plan your super-fun shoot!)  We will then upload the images and film on Nicole Chan Photography blog and Promessa Films blog so that your friends can vote by leaving comments.  After a week of voting (mid-March), the judges at NCP and PF will review the comments and pick the lucky couple!

Other Details

• Wedding must be in 2012 and the couple must not have already booked a photographer.
• Date must be available on both Nicole Chan Photography and Promessa Films’ calendars.  We will let you know via e-mail whether your date is available.
• Must consent to having wedding published and featured on blog
• Out-of-state and destination weddings welcome!  (Couple is responsible for travel fees if 50+ miles outside of 02171 )
• No cash alternative
• Nominations are accepted. Please be sure to inform the couple that you are entering them.
